The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office is searching for an Alna man missing since Sunday evening.

Timothy Jordan, 24, reportedly was dropped off by friends Sunday evening in the Wiscasset Town Office parking lot, according to a release from Lt. Michael Murphy of the sheriff’s office.

Jordan reportedly sent a text to another friend on Monday morning saying he was leaving his pickup truck and trailer in the parking lot of the W.W. & F. Railroad Museum on Cross Road. The friends then found the truck and trailer at that location, but not Jordan. They subsequently reported him missing.

Jordan is described as five-feet-six inches tall, 140 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing gray pants and a gray hooded T-shirt.

Murphy asked that anyone with any information about his whereabouts call the sheriff’s office at 882-7332.
