BRUNSWICK, Maine — Brunswick police went to Cushing Street late Tuesday night after a 62-year-old Brunswick man reported he’d just been robbed by two other men with whom he’d been drinking.

The alleged victim told police that the other two men took the money without use of a weapon, Brunswick Police Cmdr. Mark Waltz said Tuesday.

Waltz declined to say how much money was allegedly taken other than to say it was less than $1,000.

A search by a police dog was unsuccessful, Waltz said. Police continue to search for the suspects and the case remains under investigation.
