Police searching for man who robbed Ocean State Job Lot in Bangor

Police are searching for a man who robbed Ocean State Job Lot on Tuesday.

BANGOR, Maine — Police are investigating a strong-arm robbery at Ocean State Job Lot on Union Street.

According to the Bangor Police Department, a man wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and khaki cargo shorts handed over a handwritten note demanding money from the cash register at 8:40 a.m. Tuesday.

The man said he had a gun but didn’t display a weapon. He left in a green Dodge pickup truck. Police did not disclose how much money he took.
