ELLSWORTH, Maine — Police are searching for a teenage girl last seen leaving the Ellsworth Public Library on Wednesday evening.

Khaitlynn Prosser, 13, was last seen leaving the Ellsworth Public Library at 6:57 p.m., according to a Facebook post from the Ellsworth Police Department.

According to an update Thursday morning, Ellsworth police have video of Prosser getting into a car on Water Street. The video shows the car turning on Bayside Road toward Trenton.

Police released two screenshots of the video showing the car.

Ellsworth police said in the update Prosser got into the vehicle shortly after 7 p.m.
She was wearing a t-shirt, skinny jeans and pink converse low-top sneakers, and may have been wearing the white hat in the photo. Prosser 5′ 6″, 115 pounds with shoulder-length brown hair and brown eyes.

Ellsworth police ask anyone with knowledge of her whereabouts call the police station at 667-2133.
