NORWAY, Maine — A MSAD 51 school bus was damaged Thursday when it was rear-ended by a sedan in Norway, according to a school district official.

The bus had no students on it and had pulled over to the side of Fair Street at the time of the accident, according to Scott Poulin, director of human resources and finances for MSAD 51 of Cumberland and North Yarmouth.

The bus had just dropped off Greely High School students on a field trip prior to the crash, Poulin said.

The damaged bus was towed back to the MSAD 51 bus garage, Poulin said. Neither driver was seriously injured.

Another bus was sent to Norway to pick up the MSAD 51 students from their field trip.
