Kristina Weaver (via comment section), Richard Leighton (via email) George Fields, Michelle Rubey and Leslie Gordon Curtis (all via Facebook) won the “Where in the Woods” game for Peter’s Brook Trail in Blue Hill in December 2015 given the following clues and photos:

It certainly didn’t feel like December this past weekend, but I’m not complaining. The cold weather will be here soon enough, bringing with it plenty of snow and ice.

On Saturday, I was happy to walk around in the woods for a few hours with my husband and our dog Oreo. See if you recognize the short but beautiful Maine trail that we explored by viewing the photo gallery below. Leave your best guesses in the comment section below. The winner gets a high five and a mention in the updated post, and as always, stay tuned for tomorrow’s “1-minute hike” video and description of the adventure.

I think this particular trail will be tough to guess because it’s not very well known and doesn’t have many defining features, aside from the waterfall, which is located at the end of the trail. So I’ll give you a clue — it’s near the coast.
