POLAND, Maine — Androscoggin County and state police have responded to a developing standoff on White Oak Hill Road.

A disturbance at 475 White Oak Hill Road was reported around 10:30 a.m. Thursday.

According to Androscoggin County Sheriff Eric Samson, all but one person has since safely left the house and county police have been joined by state police at the scene at the single-family home.

Police have closed White Oak Hill Road at the intersection with Summit Spring Road, at the golf course, and where the road junctions with Route 11.
