NORWAY, Maine — A vehicle smashed through the windows of a vacant commercial building late Thursday, and police are looking for the driver.

The incident happened around 11:30 p.m. Thursday, according to Norway police Chief Robert Frederico.

Frederico said when police arrived, they found a 1996 Lincoln Town Car had gone through the windows of the Lake Road building. The driver apparently had left the scene.

Police searched for the driver, but nobody was located. The incident remains under investigation.
