BANGOR, Maine — Shelby Bradford, Adam Duplisea, Randy Fletcher, Joey Melanson, Shane Rogers and the 1995 baseball team will be inducted into Husson University’s 30th Sports Hall of Fame class on Friday, Dec. 4.

The Class of 2015 is comprised of five individuals and one team and covers more than two decades of Husson’s athletic history. They will be honored during a ceremony at the Spectacular Events Center in Bangor.

“It is an outstanding group of men and women as well as the 1995 baseball team that represent the great tradition of Husson athletics,” Husson director of athletics Frank Pergolizzi said in a news release.

Eight sports are represented in the class, with Bradford (women’s soccer, women’s basketball, women’s lacrosse), Duplisea (men’s golf), Fletcher (men’s basketball), Melanson (men’s soccer), Rogers (football) and the baseball team.

“This class is a very strong class of athletes that have performed very well,” Hall of Fame Committee Chairman Bruce MacGregor said in the release. “It is with great pleasure we welcome them in and look forward to the banquet.”

The induction banquet is set for 5-6:30 p.m., followed by the ceremony at 6:45 p.m.

A breakfast and campus tour with the inductees will be held 10:30 a.m.-noon on Dec. 5 at the Wadleigh Academic Center. The class also will be recognized that day during halftime of a women’s basketball game between Husson and Maine Maritime Academy, which tips off at 1 p.m.
