PORTLAND, Maine — Portland police are looking for a man they say robbed the Domino’s Pizza at 788 Forest Ave. just before 2 a.m. Wednesday.

Employees at the shop told police that a man began to order a pizza at about 1:55 a.m. He then suddenly jumped over the counter, took cash an employee was counting on a nearby table and threatened a clerk who tried to stop him before jumping back over the counter and fleeing.

The man did not display a weapon, according to a release from the Portland Police Department, who said no one was hurt.

The suspect is described as a white man in his late 20s or early 30s, about 5 feet 8 inches tall, with a slim build, brown hair and a goatee-type beard. He was wearing a dark, hooded sweatshirt, shorts and sandals.
