MACHIAS, Maine — The Washington County grand jury handed down indictments Sept 4. against five people on charges ranging from arson to assault.

Kendra Moody, 21, of Trescott was indicted on two counts of endangering the welfare of a child and one count of domestic violence assault on a child less than 6 years old.

The incident took place between Sept. 30, 2012, and Oct. 3, 2012, in Lubec. More information on the case was not immediately available Friday.

A warrant was issued for Moody’s arrest after she was indicted.

Also indicted Friday were:

— Jerald D. Stevens, 34, Princeton, aggravated criminal mischief, two counts arson, in connection with an incident Oct. 31, 2014, in Indian Township.

— Jessica Ramsdell, 38, Lubec, aggravated forgery in connection with an incident Jan. 9 in Machias.

— Kevin D. Nelson, 56, Milbridge, theft by deception, unemployment fraud. The alleged unemployment fraud took place on or about June 15, 2013, to Dec. 21, 2013, in Milbridge.

— Adam Hayes, 29, Danforth, burglary, theft by unlawful taking and criminal mischief in connection with an April 29 incident in Danforth.
