Kennebunk man charged over Sasquatch graffiti

Freeman Hatch has been charged with criminal mischief and unlawful possession of a schedule drug in an incident involving Sasquatch graffiti.

KENNEBUNK, Maine — Kennebunk police have charged a man they say spray painted a Sasquatch on public property.

Police have charged 36-year-old Freeman Hatch of Kennebunk with criminal mischief and unlawful possession of a schedule drug.

“These markings deface public and private property, costing time and money to repair or replace,” said Kennebunk police Chief Robert MacKenzie.

Hatch is scheduled to appear in Biddeford District Court on Nov. 4.
