On this snowy Monday morning, I’m warm inside the BDN office and wearing a big, soft sweater. Johns wearing a sweater, too. It’s a sweater type of day. Outside, snow is covering brown lawns and bare trees. John says it’ll turn to sleet later. I hope he’s wrong. I prefer snow.

Yesterday, Derek and I brought our dog Oreo on a walk on some local trails. Early in the morning, the temperatures had only reached the low 20s. We bundled right up in winter clothes and dressed Oreo in a doggy fleece, then we were ready to explore trail network.
