BANGOR AND ST. FRANCIS – St. Francis, Liela Ann Jandreau, 63, died October 18, 2014 at a Bangor hospital. She was born May 8, 1951, in Fort Kent, the daughter of Alberie and Verna (Thibodeau) Jandreau.
Liela attended Lowell School in St. Francis, Community High School in Fort Kent and University of Maine at Fort Kent. She was a postal delivery carrier for 25 years. Liela also worked part time as a home health care provider, she also worked a number of years as town clerk for St. Francis. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was predeceased by her father in 2010 and mother in 1990, and her sister-in-law, “Bart” in 1992,
She is survived by two sons, Lloyd Robbie Theriault, and Andy Jess Jackson, both of Colorado; two daughters, Debi Lee Theriault of Colorado and Alisha Theriault and her special companion, Roland Hafford of Fort Kent; five sisters, Rachel Bouchard of Soldier Pond, Aline Morin and husband Edric of Ellsworth, Joan Jandreau of Caribou, Norma Jackson and husband, Colin, Tammy Nadeau and husband, Benny of St. Francis; one brother, Joseph Jandreau of St. John; seven grandchildren, Dillon Boucher, Braylen and Angelique Theriault, McKinley Pace, Hailey Nadeau, Parker and Jayce Hafford, and several nieces, nephews, cousins and godchildren.
Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 21st and 8-9:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 22nd at Daigle Funeral Home, Fort Kent. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Wednesday, at the St. Charles Catholic Church, St. Francis.
