Class B and C state tennis matches moved, Class A postponed

With rain in the forecast for Saturday, the high school state tennis championships for Classes B and C have been moved to the Portland Racquet and Fitness Center in Portland while the Class A matches have been postponed until Monday.

The Class C boys and girls state finals will begin at 3 p.m. Saturday, followed by the Class B boys and girls matches at 6 p.m.

The Class A matches will be played at 4 p.m. Monday at Bates College in Lewiston.

The state-final matchups are: boys — Class A, Mount Ararat (10-5) vs. Falmouth (15-0); Class B, Camden Hills (13-2) vs. Cape Elizabeth (13-2); Class C, George Stevens (13-2) vs. Waynflete; and girls — Class A, Brunswick (15-0) vs. Falmouth (15-0); Class B, Waterville (15-0) vs Greely (14-1); Class C, Van Buren (11-0) vs. Waynflete (13-2).
