GREENVILLE, Maine — A Greenville man who had been missing since June 3 was found dead in Massachusetts on Wednesday, police said.

The body of Elmer MacFayden, 88, was found in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts, about 40 yards off a highway, according to a statement from Greenville police.

MacFayden was reported missing on Tuesday when he started a drive to New York state and hadn’t been heard from. He had last been seen in Scarborough.
