Eight teens charged after police bust underage drinking party in Brunswick

BRUNSWICK, Maine — Seven Brunswick teens and a 19-year-old South Portland man were charged Saturday night after police broke up an alleged underage drinking party on Old Bath Road.

Officers responded to a Text-A-Tip message at 10:30 p.m. Saturday alerting them to the party, Deputy Chief Marc Hagan said Monday, and found beer and wine at the house.

A 17-year-old Brunswick girl was charged with allowing minors to possess or consume liquor.

Charged with possession or consumption of liquor by a minor were Sophie Knox, 18, of Brunswick; Logan Tupper, 18, of Brunswick; Ashlyn Black, 18, of Brunswick; Juliana Rattey, 18, of Brunswick; Dustin Duran, 19, of South Portland; Zachary Raubeson, 18, of Brunswick; and another 17-year-old Brunswick girl.
