Fans of classic rock from the 1970s can rejoice — Steely Dan, featuring a reunited Walter Becker and Donald Fagen, will play the Darling’s Waterfront Pavilion on Friday, Aug. 29, as part of their 47-date “Jamalot Ever After” tour.

Tickets for the concert, priced at $28.75 to $102.75, will go on sale at 10 a.m. on April 25 and can be purchased via Ticketmaster, by calling 1-800-745-3000, or locally at Mark’s Music in Brewer.

Steely Dan has sold more than 40 million albums worldwide and helped define the soundtrack of the 1970s, with hits such as “Reelin’ in the Years,” “Rikki Don’t Lose That Number,” “F.M.,” “Peg,” “Hey Nineteen,” “Deacon Blues” and countless others, from landmark albums including “Aja,” “The Royal Scam” and “Pretzel Logic,” as well as their 2000 album “Two Against Nature,” which won the Album of the Year Grammy.

Onstage, Donald and Walter will be joined by those same eight supporting musicians they have played with for decades: Keith Carlock on drums, Freddie Washington on bass, Jim Beard on keyboards, Jon Herington on guitar, Michael Leonhart on trumpet and keys, Jim Pugh on trombone, Roger Rosenberg on baritone saxophone and Walt Weiskopf on saxophone, along with three backing vocalists, La Tanya Hall, Carolyn Leonhart-Escoffery and Cindy Mizelle.
