Outlook: The Black Bears hope to gain some momentum from Sunday’s 82-66 home win over Binghamton. It was their best defensive effort of the season. The Hawks are coming off Tuesday’s 68-56 victory at Dartmouth, which ended a two-game skid. UMaine features a balanced offense that leads the league in scoring (77.6 ppg). The Bears rank last in AE scoring defense (87.5 ppg). A key challenge will be limiting Nwakamma inside. UMaine is without freshman PG Troy Reid-Knight, who is out with concussion-like symptoms after taking a spill against Binghamton.
