BANGOR, Maine — A 3-year-old girl who was wounded in a shooting last week remains at a Bangor hospital Monday, police said.

The girl, whose name has not been released by police, is being treated at Eastern Maine Medical Center.

Bangor police Sgt. Cathy Rumsey said Monday afternoon an update on the girl’s condition was not available.

The sergeant said she hadn’t received any new information on the case during the day Monday.

Circumstances surrounding the shooting at a Bald Mountain Drive residence on Wednesday remain under investigation, according to Rumsey.

Nobody has been charged in the case.
