BATH, Maine — An 11-year-old Bath girl was charged with terrorizing on Wednesday after allegedly writing a note on the wall at Bath Middle School indicating there was a bomb in the building.
Officers responded at approximately 1 p.m. to the school after the note was discovered, according to a news release from Bath Police Lt. Robert Savary.
The school was evacuated briefly while administrators and police identified a suspect, Savary said.
The girl was subsequently charged with terrorizing, a Class C felony, and released to her parents.
