BANGOR, Maine — Three suspects have been arrested in connection with a trio of armed robberies that occurred in a span of two days.

Penobscot County Sheriff Glenn Ross announced the busts in a statement Thursday afternoon. The names of the suspects, all men, were not disclosed.

The arrests were made in connection with an armed robbery at the Check-Out Market in Glenburn on Sept. 8, a home invasion and armed robbery at a house on Center Drive in Orrington on Sept. 9, and an attempted armed robbery at the Kozy Korner store in Orrington, also on Sept. 9.

A task force from state police and the Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office worked together to arrest the suspects, Ross said.
