RICHMOND, Maine — A Richmond man faces charges of visual sexual aggression against a child after he allegedly sent images of his genitalia via the internet to a 13-year-old Wiscasset girl.

Daniel N. Reusch, Jr., 18, will answer to the charge on Sept. 25 in Wiscasset District Court. Scott Hayden, a Lincoln County Sheriff’s detective, said that Reusch, who is out on bail, is under orders to have no contact with females less than 16 years of age.

Hayden arrested Reusch at 9 a.m. on Aug. 8 at Reusch’s residence on Harris Lane in Richmond. Reusch was sleeping at the time, Hayden said. Reusch confessed to the allegation, Hayden said.

The detective urges anyone else who might have been victimized by Reusch to call him at 882-7332.

“I think there might be more victims out there,” Hayden said.

Hayden said that Reusch knows the girl through an online connection.

The girl told Wiscasset police that someone has sent her “inappropriate” images, Hayden said.

“We investigated it, and figured out where it came from and arrested the person who was responsible,” Hayden said.

Police confiscated Reusch’s computer and other electronic material, Hayden said.
