Jewish folk singer in concert

BANGOR — Rabbi Joe Black, a nationally known Jewish folk singer and writer, will perform at 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 30, at Congregation Beth El, 183 French St. Tickets are $10 at the door, free to children under 10. The concert will benefit the Religious Coalition Against Discrimination and Congregation Beth El. For information, email info@rcadmaine.org.

50/50/1 concert

BANGOR — Bud Light’s new program, 50/50/1, will present concerts in all 50 states on a single day, Thursday, Aug. 1, including The Lost Trailers, who will perform on that day at Waterfront Park in Bangor.

Plein Air Festival

CASTINE — The Castine Plein Air Festival will take place Saturday, July 25, when 35 artists will spend the day making paintings of the Castine’s scenic beauty. At the end of the day there will be an exhibit and sale of the paintings. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Castine Schoodic Sculpture Fund and the Castine Arts Association.
