BANGOR, Maine — Police are searching for a man who is a person of interest in a burglary that took place last month.

On April 23, police went to a Valley View residence after a report that a home had been broken into, Sgt. Paul Edwards said.

The suspect or suspects entered the victim’s home while they slept and stole items including at least one credit card, the sergeant said.

The male person of interest, seen in surveillance images leaving Walmart on Stillwater Avenue, may have been involved with the stolen credit card and police are seeking to identify him.

If anyone knows the identity of the man they should call Officer Brian Smith at 947-7382 or use ext. 6 to remain anonymous.
