BANGOR, Maine — The city’s first waterfront concert of the season, headlined by Motley Crue, is scheduled for Thursday, and with the show comes multiple road closures, police said.
Westbound traffic on Summer Street has been closed since May 6 due to construction on the Joshua Chamberlain Bridge and will remain closed.
No parking will be allowed on either side of Railroad Street, and Front Street will close to vehicles at 4 p.m. Thursday.
Handicapped parking for the show will be available on Front Street, while 20 on-street parking spaces from the Sea Dog to Railroad Street will be posted for handicap parking.
The Front Street parking lot near the boat dock will be used for VIP parking, and owners of boats who rent space at the dock will be allowed to park in that lot.
