No contested races in Camden

CAMDEN, Maine — There will be no contested races at June’s municipal elections.

Incumbent Select Board Chairman Martin Cates was the only candidate to file by the deadline on Monday.

Incumbent School Administrative District 28 Board Chairwoman Tori Manzi did not turn in her papers. Incumbent board member John Lewis filed papers for one of two SAD 28/Five-Town Community School District boards.

The second seat could be filled by write-in votes.

The polls will be open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 11, at the Camden Public Safety building.

The annual town meeting is scheduled to start at 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 12, at the Camden Opera House.
