BOWDOINHAM, Maine — A 27-year-old Bowdoinham man was injured Saturday night in what police say may have been a stabbing.
Police arrived at the Bowdoinham home at 8:38 p.m. for a reported assault with a knife, Chief Deputy Brett Strout of the Sagadahoc County Sheriff’s Office said Monday.
“We’re trying to determine if this was accidental or intentional,” Strout said. “We can’t make that determination yet.”
The man was taken by ambulance to Maine Medical Center in Portland. His condition was unavailable Tuesday morning.
The incident remains under investigation. No further details were available Tuesday.
