ORONO, Maine — An accidental 911 call led to a drug charge for two men late Thursday night.

University of Maine Police had responded to the University Park area off College Avenue and found four men, none of whom were UMaine students, hanging out in the playground area around 11:39 p.m., university spokeswoman Margaret Nagle said.

Two of the men, Cory Danielson, 18, of Old Town and Zachary Buck, 18, of Milford were summoned for possession of drug paraphernalia but not arrested, Nagle said.

Officers found a cigarette rolling machine, a pipe and a grinder in their possession, all of which were confiscated, the spokeswoman said.
