BANGOR, Maine — Store security at Walmart used video surveillance to watch a Newburgh man as he tried to steal a home security system Saturday afternoon, and then called police to arrest him, Bangor police Sgt. Paul Edwards said Monday.
“The person took a security system valued at $199,” the sergeant said.
Dillon Small, who does not have a criminal record, Edwards said, was arrested and charged with theft at about 2:30 p.m. Saturday and then taken to Penobscot County Jail. He was later released, the sergeant said.
