Bangor Hydro Electric service interruption planned for Howland on Friday

HOWLAND, Maine — A system upgrade will force an interruption of electric service for Bangor Hydro Electric Co. customers in Howland Friday.

Bangor Hydro spokesman Bob Potts said the upgrades on the electrical system will be conducted on River Road, Caron Drive, Ring Street, Martin Lane and the Riverview apartments.

The system interruption will start at 8 a.m. and last for approximately 3 hours.

Anyone with questions should contact Bangor Hydro’s customer service center at 947-2414 between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m.
