JACKSON, Maine — Police said that a local man with a long criminal history is behind bars again after terrorizing someone this week.
Patrick Bickford, 24, had recently been released from Maine State Prison, according to Chief Deputy Jeff Trafton of the Waldo County Sheriff’s Office, when he got into a dispute over an ex-girlfriend and was arrested and charged Monday with terrorizing.
“He communicated over the phone with a man,” Trafton said Tuesday. “He told him if he hangs out ‘with my lady, I’m going to break your neck.’”
Bickford was taken to Waldo County Jail to be booked, but has been transferred to Two Bridges Regional Jail in Wiscasset, according to a police report.
Trafton said that Bickford has been convicted of charges relating to burglary.
