HOULTON and LENEXA, Kan. – Carmen Levesque Byron, 61, died Feb. 12, 2013, at her mother’s home with her family at her side. She was born Feb. 10, 1952, in Houlton, the daughter of Francois and Frances (Gilpatrick) Levesque.
She was a graduate of Houlton High School, class of 1970. She was co-owner of Kansas City Regional Homes and a member of National Association of Realtors.
In addition to her mother of Houlton, she is survived by her husband of 40 years, Ronald Byron of Lenexa, Kan.; two sons, Parker Byron and his wife, Andrea, of Olathe, Kan., and Bradley Byron and his wife, Rachelle, of Springfield, Mo.; three grandchildren, Kylie, Tyler and Allyson; three sisters, Lucienne Royal and her husband, Gregory, of Houlton, Janet Acott and her husband, Allen, and Lori McNutt and her husband, Ted, all of Linneus; a brother, Randy Levesque and his wife, Cheryl, of Houlton; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her father, Francois.
Friends may call 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 15, at Bowers Funeral Home, 10 Water St., Houlton. A Mass of Christian burial will held 1 p.m. Friday at St. Mary of the Visitation Church, Houlton. Spring interment will be 1 p.m. June 29 at St. Mary’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may donate in Carmen’s memory to Pancreatic Cancer at www.pancan.org.
