Hermon boys basketball team holds off John Bapst for sixth victory

HERMON, Maine — The Hermon Hawks built a five-point halftime lead and held on to record a 53-46 boys basketball victory over John Bapst on Tuesday night.

Tyler Thayer led Hermon with a game-high 17 points and Eric Hoogterp added 12 points for the 6-5 Hawks.

John Bapst of Bangor (3-7) was led by Colby Kohn with 12 points. Cody Lyons chipped in with 11 points.
