BREWER, Maine — A 39-year-old Trenton woman is facing multiple drug charges after a Brewer police officer responded to a call about a woman using drugs in a parking lot just off Wilson Street on Jan. 9.

Lori E. King, 39, of Trenton was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of synthetic hallucinogenic drugs, sale of drug paraphernalia and use of drug paraphernalia.

“Officer Paul Gauvin responded to a report of a woman using drugs in a parking lot on Wilson Street. He spoke with her and got consent to search her car,” said Brewer police Deputy Chief Jason Moffitt. “He found a spoon with white residue on the center console along with several syringes. A test revealed it was bath salts.”

King was taken to Penobscot County Jail, but is out now and awaiting a Feb. 13 court date at Penobscot Judicial Center.
