BANGOR, Maine — Police are still looking for a Bangor man who has been missing since last October.

Shawn Joseph Flewelling, 38, was last seen on Oct. 4 and was reported missing by family members on Oct. 24, according to Sgt. Paul Edwards.

Detective Jim Carr is leading the investigation, according to Edwards. Flewelling is a white male who is 5 feet, 9 inches tall, weighs 180-200 pounds, and has black hair and brown eyes.

He also has multiple tattoos, including an eagle on his left arm, the name Sara on his right arm, dice on his hand and a cobweb on his right shoulder.

An updated photo of Flewelling was recently posted on the department’s Facebook page. Edwards said it remains unclear if foul play was involved in the disappearance.

Flewelling’s last known address was on Curve Street in Bangor. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to call Carr at 947-7382, or press extension 6 to leave a tip.
