Cambridge mail carrier retires after 37 years of service

CAMBRIDGE, Maine — Larry Davis of Cambridge retired Friday after 37 years as a rural carrier for the United States Postal Service. He worked at the Cambridge office for most of his career and also out of the Guilford post office. He logged nearly 900,000 miles and delivered more than 50 million letters. A reception was held for him Friday morning at the Cambridge post office, where he is pictured with his supervisor, Brenda Glidden.
