Ok, like Virginia tech, what if the teachers or school officials carried guns or could carry guns in school? Would they have been able to shoot the mass shooter before he could get as many rounds off, and killed as many people as he did? Like many state that if they carried a gun or could carry a gun into Virginia Tech they would have shot that man before he could get off as many kills. Maybe we should open up gun laws, rather than close them?

How about we stop being so mean to those with mental issues, and stop calling what he suffered from a mental illness, since he had it his whole life, it was a condition, not a chemical imbalance. It was a structure in his brain he had to live with and be tormented for his life. How about trying not to be so mean to fellow man in general? Stop throwing some people in the middle, not bad enough to get welfare, but not good enough to have the standard of living, not good enough to get a job, but not bad enough to get disability. Stop making such quick judgements and don’t commit someone because of an estranged realtive, or because they may be different, because that hurts people’s lives, liberty, and pursuit of happiness.

How about learning how to handle a situation or to deal with people with mental issues into a high school graduation requirement?

A doctor has to fight the cause of someone’s issues to make a person feel better. An engineer has to find the cause to the problem to fix the issue. How about stop looking at guns, or the effect and look at the cause?
