BANGOR, Maine — One intoxicated concertgoer at Friday night’s Waterfront Concert, which featured a triple bill of Journey, Pat Benatar and Loverboy, was asked to leave after he became “obnoxious” but refused, Bangor police Lt. Tom Reagan said on Sunday.

Donald Rogers, 48, of Glenburn “was drunk and disorderly,” the lieutenant said. “The staff asked him to leave. He kept stopping and refused to leave.”

Rogers was arrested at about 8:15 p.m. Friday for disorderly conduct and missed the rest of the concert because he was taken to Penobscot County Jail. He has since been released, a jail official said Sunday.

No other arrests were made at the concert, Reagan said.
