    What exactly, except to spend taxpayers money tearing it down, does the town intend to do with the old HA? At least they are no longer spending cash for the privilege of tearing down some buildings, but why give the SAD 65 acres of land for it either?

      I imagine that having that empty space opens that land for sale to businesses that may come in. It might even be enough space for a small housing community to be put up, with the right planning.  Economic development, essentially.
