Courts to be closed until noon during administrative week

Maine court clerks’ offices will not open to the public until noon beginning Monday, July 30, during the court system’s summer administrative week.

Clerks also will not answer phones before noon.

Offices will be open from noon to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday to allow court personnel to catch up on paperwork.

Regular hours of 8 a.m.-4 p.m. will resume Monday, Aug 6.

Administrative weeks are held three times a year. The last was the week of April 30 and the next will be Oct. 15 through 19.
