Carrabec High School announces honor parts

NORTH ANSON, Maine — Principal Regina Campbell has announced the valedictorian and salutatorian for the class of 2012 at Carrabec High School. Graduation will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 2, in the Carrabec High School Gymnasium.

Sudie Myers, daughter of Suzanne Scott of New Portland, has been named Carrabec’s valedictorian. She will attend the University of Maine at Farmington, majoring in psychology.

With a grade point average of 96.19, she has completed many AP and honors-level courses. She also was chosen as Student of the Month.

Spencer Shaw, son of Amanda Shaw of Madison and Derek Frost, has been named Carrabec’s salutatorian. He will attend Hampshire College, majoring in journalism activism.

He has a grade point average of 94 and he has completed AP and honors-level courses.
