Comments for: The end of the hairy, joyless feminist

Meanwhile, back in the real world, Romney is now leading Obama among women, according to the latest NY Times/CBS news poll.  That “Republican war on women” message that the libs have trumpted across the mainstream media is really working, isn’t it?

BTW, love the reference to Rush in Time magazine…whose first quarter earnings fell by 11%…

Why, exactly, would a woman vote Republican this November???

      • Anonymous

Because it’s the 21st century, and women are as smart as men now!

          Or as gullible.

        •  A lot of Republican women are Christians, and since Christianity is a patriarchal cult, I’d have to say women would vote Republican because their husbands told them to.

Not a real high view of women, Dane?  Perhaps many are smart enough to recognize the hypocrisy or idiocy – take your pick – of some on the left who chose to commemorate Mother’s Day by collecting stories about…wait for it…contraception.

Apparently, the irony was lost on the organizers of said event, one of whom was none other than the world famous genius law student who testified about Georgetown’s abysmal healthcare coverage for women.

          •  Actually I have a very high view of women, however, when the indoctrination of Christianity happens during a young age people like B.F. Skinner are proven right.  Get them young and trains them how you want them. In this way Christianity is no different than what Hitler did with his “Hitler Youth”

Take out the word “Christianity” and plug in “public education” or “early childhood education” and you’d be making the point on a much larger scale.

I noticed you weren’t comparing them to Hitler Youth, though.

Most American women would sooner vote for the Pope than for Romney.  Enjoy the poll.

It’s cute how you cite the ONLY poll that has Romney leading. The most recent poll, from Fox News, has Obama leading Romeny 55 to 33. http://polltracker.talkingpointsmemo.com/contests/president-12-women

      Nice try.

        Fox news, no less!

       But most polls say otherwise.

Wow, alot of pixels wasted on that long screed.

A feminist is someone who thinks women are people.

“The image of the feminist as a mirthless, hirsute, sex-averse succubus…” is hardly a creation of the Right nor Sarah Michelle Gellar.  It was a badge of honor for some, as Camille Paglia was likely excoriated for pointing out.

With all the real problems in the country, why does Our side give folks like the author all this ammunition to divert attention?  Phyllis Schlafly?  still?  really??

Until the number of women in Congress approaches 50%  it will remain mostly  a  playground for men playing boys’ games.

No sale. Invariably when I drive Maine roads, I observe that the cars with the Obama stickers on them are driven by ugly, middle-age women. It never ceases to amaze me how often this is the case.
