Comments for: Rescued mini horses find home in Maine

Three of the mini horses — Michelle, Misty and Angel — were brought to their new homes last week. The remaining 16 animals will be released once they receive a clean bill of health.

    During the Civil War the  Northern Calvary rode  this beautiful and brave  breed of horse  when fighting-“Short battles.” When the men that rode these mini-horses  into battle returned  home riding these diminutive steeds, they quickly married their sweethearts and avoided “long engagements.”

    How shocking that their “owner” was a veterinarian!  I hope the MA Veterinary Board will be reviewing this person’s license to practice.  There must be something seriously wrong…

      There is a lot of mental illness connected to animal abuse. Those folks don’t realize they are neglecting the animals. They feel they are helping and doing their best for them.
