Hermon calling for candidates

By Dawn Gagnon, BDN Staff

HERMON, Maine — Nomination petitions will be available Monday for four local elected positions to be filled by voters in annual town elections on June 12.

Up for grabs are the expiring town council seats now held by Donna Pulver and Doug Sinclair and the school board positions now held by Shelley Snow and Christopher Patten.

Residents who plan to run for a position should request nomination petitions at the town office. In order to be placed on the ballot, potential candidates must gather at least 25 signatures from registered voters who reside in Hermon.

The deadline for submitted nomination papers is 5 p.m. Friday, April 27.
