BANGOR, Maine — A man whose bail conditions prohibit him from consuming alcohol was arrested Monday, according to police.
The case started with an argument between Robert Bowring, 28, and a woman at an Ohio Street apartment, Bangor police Sgt. Paul Edwards said.
“When we got there, we talked to a female who was not cooperative with police,” said Edwards.
When police located Bowring in the area and ran his name, he was taken to the police station and given a breathalyzer test.
The results showed that Bowring had alcohol in his system, and he subsequently was arrested and charged with violating conditions of his release, Edwards said. The woman was not arrested.
