BREWER and BANGOR – Ada (Soper) Snow, 77, died Feb. 17, 2012, at a Bangor health care facility, after a brief illness. She was born Dec. 17, 1934, in Bucksport, the youngest of six daughters of the late Carlton P. and Edna R. (Bishop) Soper.
She was a graduate of Bucksport High School. Ada married Robert M. Snow and they lived many years in Orrington, where they raised their four sons.
Surviving are three sons, Steven R. Snow and his wife, Donna, of Gilford, N.H., Robert F. Snow and his wife, Maureen, of Brewer and Matthew S. Snow and his wife, Debbie, of San Rafael, Calif.; eight grandchildren, Michelle Whitten, Larry Snow, Andrew Snow, John Snow, Martin Snow, Katherine Snow, Sarah Snow and Mary Snow; four great-grandchildren, Tiffany Herbest, Derek Herbest, Jeremy Herbest and Kahlan Snow; three sisters, Gladys Belodeau of Brewer, Doris Clair of Bucksport and Ethel Lindsey of Orrington; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert M.; a son, Larry C.; and two sisters, E. Carlotta Hewey and Alice Clair.
Services will be held noon Saturday, Feb. 25, at Brookings-Smith, Brewer Chapel, 55 South Main St., Brewer, where relatives and friends are invited to call 11 a.m. until time of the service. The family invites folks to share conversation and refreshments after the service at Brookings-Smith Reception Rooms, 55 South Main St., Brewer.
