Kenduskeag man facing domestic violence charge

By Ryan McLaughlin, BDN Staff

KENDUSKEAG, Maine — A local man was arrested for domestic violence assault last week after police say he assaulted his wife, leaving her with a bloody lip.

Thomas Hardison II, 30, was arrested at his Kenduskeag home by state police Trooper Chris Cookson just before 4 p.m. Dec. 20 after he allegedly struck the woman at the residence.

The woman called 911 and fled the residence, Cookson said Tuesday, adding that she did not need any medical attention.

Penobscot County sheriff’s deputies also responded to the incident, according to Cookson.

Hardison was taken to the Penobscot County Jail and eventually was released on bail after being charged with domestic violence assault. He faces up to a year behind bars if convicted of the Class D charge. (Ryan McLaughlin, BDN)
