BANGOR, Maine — A Bangor woman who already had an outstanding warrant for her arrest added a felony drug charge to her rap sheet after police said they discovered oxycodone in her apartment.

Bangor police Sgt. Paul Edwards said Wednesday that Officers Tim Shaw and Steve Pelletier were outside a residence on Blue Hill Drive East on Dec. 8 when they observed Karina Dubrowski, 20, inside the apartment.

Before entering Dubrowski’s apartment, the officers saw a truck pulling up driven by Anthony Rowe, 22, of Levant, who also had a warrant for his arrest, Edwards said.

After Rowe was arrested, police entered Dubrowski’s home to arrest her on her warrant and discovered the oxycodone pills, Edwards said.

Dubrowski subsequently was charged with felony drug possession, while another man inside the apartment, Nicholas Rowe, 24, of Levant, also was arrested on outstanding warrants.

“It’s her house. She took responsibility for [the oxycodone] being hers,” Edwards said.

Dubrowski was taken to the Penobscot County Jail and later released, according to a jail official. Edwards would not say what the suspects’ warrants were for, only that they involved minor infractions. The two men also were taken to jail and released.
