Outlook: The Black Bears head back out on the road for a tough test against the Fighting Irish, who have won 24 in a row at home. UMaine, coming off Sunday’s 76-74 overtime win at Rhode Island, plays the third of four straight road contests. Notre Dame, from the Big East, dropped a 78-71 decision Sunday to Maryland. UMaine will attempt to slow down a squad that has several good scorers by playing tough defense. However, the Bears can’t afford to get too overaggressive and get into foul trouble with a limited frontcourt lineup. UMaine is likely to have some matchup issues against UND’s taller guard lineup.
